Maybe you can try to take a course of Chinese pinyin,it's easier for you to learn the pinyin of Chinese characters.

you can use WORD of Office 2003 or 2007(chinese edtion).this software is convenient to learn chinese by pinyin.enter WORD,select"格式",among those options ,select"中文版式",then choose"拼音指南"。
