what is the underlying meaning or sense of "NOLITA"
emm...i have seen the word "NOLITA" a lot of times,but i cannt get the exact meaning from dictionaries...
a cafe may called NOLITA,or an album from keren ann had this name.
but even it is just a name,there's some feelings or imaginary scenes or some expectations underneath,rite?

I think about  "expensive retail boutique, trendy restaurants and bars"  when I hear the name of NoLIta.  If you want to know the origin of this name see  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nolita.  Also, it is the name of an italian trademark.
