Accurate answers for IELTS
Hello everybody!
I'm preparing for the IELTS and I'd like to enquire about the way whereby examiners correct the answers.
I did the following exercise from my workbook, however, when I check the answer key and compare it with what I've written, I notice some differences between them (some words are missing or I put more words, but without getting off the right answer).
Example (MA= my answer; AS= answer sheet):
Answer the questions below. Choose NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS from the passage for each question:
1. What aspect of shopping causes dopamine to be released? MA: The anticipation; AS: Anticipation.
2. What research method did Gregory Berns use in his work? MA: Scan studies; AS: Brain scan studies.
My point is: would I score less marks just because I didn't answer exactly the same as expected by the British Council (the exam organizer institution)?
