When in Rome, should we do as the Romans do or should we just be ourselves?
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do". This is what this old proverb says.
So, should we try to adapt to the new culture of the country we are visiting or rather stick to our own habits, our culture's peculiarities and ways of behaving?

i guess you have to be yourself everywhere, whichever country you visit, but in respect to every country's traditions and values since you're at their place.

That's a difficult question, and u should use good sense, sometimes u have to act like Romans and other u can do what is best for u... Most important of all, in my opinion: respect the others and make them respect u!

Whenever you travel you need to obey that country's laws & traditions. Otherwise you may find yourself in jail or with unpleasant memories.....

i am agree with Jura, every country has its own special custom,you should respect it first then to be yourself.
