1) I don't know the word"すろと" Isn't it "すると"? 2) こゆびくらいの I think it's describing the size of something. "こゆび" is the little finger, "くらいの" means about, So "こゆびくらいの" means the size is about the little finger. I hope it help you understanding the book.
