俩个词的意思很接近。
No fundamentals.(这句话是什么意思?) 它、他们都缺乏基本/根本。。。技能/知识
All the way down the line."(这句话是什么意思?) 意思是“并不” / “一点也不” 等等. 着重上句子
例子来说,
The fundamental rule of law
Fundamental idea or principle
Religious fundamentalists
A foundation course leading to a degree
The foundations of a house
A good relationship is based on solid foundations

Fundamental is an adjective alone, but is a noun in plural form. Fundamental means the essence or basics of something that is intangible, such as a skill, language, concept, etc. Foundation, on the other hand, is a noun, and can be used to refer to the basis or support for something else whether it is tangible (the foundation of a building), or intangible (the foundation of democracy). It's only a subtle difference, but a native speaker would find it sounding awkward if you were to say something like the "fundamentals of a house".
