what does this mean
Hello.i was searching about the meaning of two close verbs (먼지)털다 and 떨다.i found this explanation.i know the meaning of some verbs but not all of them.is it possible to translate it for me? Thank you
"털다"는 달려 있는 것,붙어 있는 것 등이 떨어지게 흔들거나 치거나 하다를 뜻하므로 '옷을 털다'로,떨다는 달려 있거나 붙어 있는 것을 쳐서 떼에 내다를 뜻하므로 주로 먼지를 떨다처럼 씁니다.

Wow, I'm a Korean native and I'm reading Korean letters but I can't understand. Hahahaha!
털다 emphasizes the action of shaking or beating something.
떨다 emphasizes the result of the action above.
In other words, you have an old coat, which has dust on it. So you shake or beat the coat, about which we say 코트(coat)를 털었다.
As a result of it, that is, because you beat the coat, dust on it was shaken off, about which we say 먼지(dust)를 떨었다.
I hope it'll help. Hahaha Have a nice day/night!
