This person prefers to deal with 'tangible' objects ( 3-D objects that actually exist in time and space ) in the physical world,  as opposed to an abstract concept such as a demand curve, which is used in the study of economics.

I can't think of a substitute word. It could be re-worded as "I'm a person who prefers to deal with tangible problems as opposed to abstract ones." This is probably a better construct than "I'm  a tangible person" for a non-native speaker.

So, I think that in your case you can replace 'tangible ' with 'conrete/real man' or 'man of real actions'. Which means that this man used to see that something is real, touchable. But maybe I am wrong)

Tangible usually wouldn't be used to describe a person, but in this context "tangible person" means the person is able to be seen and comprehended, in contrast to a 'demand curve', which is an abstract concept and is therefore not "tangible."
