What does "cum" mean in this sentence?

A cum B means like a B, also serving the purpose of B, a combination of roles.

"cum" is probably Latin. "with" from memory, but it's a long time since I studied Latin. Sorry.

"Along with". So the room was a library but it was also used as a reading room and a bar.
