1. later this week:
I googled *later this week*, a result of the meaning as below:
If today is Monday, "later this week" might be Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. If today is Friday or Saturday, you probably won't use this expression.

So, Is *later in the week* the same as *later this week*? some people said the meaning of *later in the week* is *before next Monday*, is it right?
