How is right?
Are these 2 sentences equal or do they have a little difference in meaning? Thanks in advance!
1)When he got married, he immediately bought a cookery book for his wife
2)As soon as he got married he bought a cookery book for his wife
The sentences are essentially the same. In my opinion, the first sentence carries more 'urgency'. It sounds like he walked out of the church to buy the book.
