Question
Hi, there
Could you help me with some questions?
Please!
1) Does it sound odd to say "I've got a repairman coming in today."?
2) Let us say you are running around a park and your friend wants to stop, but you say:
"Let's just complete(make) another trip around." Does it sound odd? What should I say instead? Lap?
3) Should i say "The box is way too high in the cupboard, so I can't get at it." or "The box is up high in the cupboard, so I can't get at it." What would you say? Neither?
4) Can you say "I will have the repairman to plaster the wall as far down as here."? What would you say? is "have" odd in this sentence?
Please, help me.I really need help!
Thank you very much!

1. No it doesn't sound odd. I see nothing wrong with you saying something like that.
2. You could say " Let's do another lap around the park and then we can stop." that would sound better.
3. In my opinion you can say both and it would mean around the same thing if you ask me.
4. I don't think "have" sounds odd in that sentence, there might be better ways to say it like " I will have the repairman plaster the wall from here to there." But what you said doesn't sound bad either, so don't worry.
