We studied some songs by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Dassin while at school, and I remember them until now. His pronunciation is very clear (probably because he is American-born) and the texts are good, with no slang or such things. It is also something every generation would call a song, with music and actual singing... :)
