I don't want to make things so tortuous “To a guy" or "For a guy"?

Hi Cady, This sentence would sound best as: "I don't want to make things so tortuous for someone." I'm assuming "a guy" is not being used to refer to a specific guy, because otherwise you'd have to say "the guy." Please let me know if I didn't answer this question or if something isn't clear.

Hi. The structure is like this: make + noun + adjective + for + person Examples: The teacher enjoys making the exam difficult for the students. I don't want to make life hard for myself. The government is making it impossible for visitors. The security personnel at the airport make travel very stresful for tourists.
