HIT (THE BUDGET) Which one is the correct? - Hit budget - Hit the budget - it depends on the context? Could you please give me some examples. Thanks a lot :)

The first means in a general sense whereas the second refers to a particular budget. But in practice, the context is likely to be the same. You can choose either.
