"Too" and "also" mean the same thing. You will learn when it is appropriate to use them with experience. As a rule "too" usually is at the end of a sentence. "Also" can be used in the beginning or end but is usually before the verb. As an example.
Jake tells Mary that he want's to eat pizza. Mary can say:
1. I also want to eat pizza.
2. I want to eat pizza too.
3. Me too!
These are also commonly used.
4. I too, want to eat pizza. (Note there is a comma for a small pause).
5. I want to eat pizza also!
Never used.
6. Me also!
If you are not sure what to use, I think it is safer to choose "also."
I hope this helps. I am not a teacher so perhaps someone will give a better answer.
