How do you think, which variant is correct? How do you think, which variant is correct? 1) pictures in different/various styles 2) pictures of different/various styles.cause I am confused)

It depends...which I know is not helpful! I had to look this up. I found out that 'various' comes from the Latin 'varius' = 'diverse'. So to me, that means 'a range of' whereas different means not the same. But they are synonyms.
