Recommended Chinese (Mandarin) comic books/comic book series?
Anybody know of a good comic book series written in Mandarin?

I'm upper beginner looking to start learning intermediate one words, however I want to improve my reading skills before I add more vocabulary. Can anyone suggest a comic book series, or even a kids book series, written in Mandarin that is good?

Bilibili is a video website, which is pretty much like Youtube but specialises in more anime-related stuff.
Have a look. 
Some of the videos may have Chinese subtitles.

Why not read animes added with Chinese subtitles? It's definitely much better than reading kids book. I would recommend you two websites that I think they may help you. You can search the name to access the websites.

The first one is "bilibili," maybe the most popular video website for young people in China. There are diverse categories on this website, and you may find something you are interested in. The second one is "1kkk", a pirate anime-reading website. I think it's worth having a look.
