I learned that the ''as...as'' construction consists of 'as + adjective + as', for example: 'I'm not as smart as he is''. So, why does the clause construction change in the sentence above? Is it because of the indefinite article 'a'? Could you guys give me more examples similar to the sentence above? Thanks in advance.
