What's the difference between 遺憾 and 後悔？
In English they'd both become 'regret', right?

How would a native Chinese speaker use these two words differently? :)

Fēicháng yíhàn, wǒ bùnéng jiēshòu nǐ de yāoqǐng.

I am very sorry I will not be able to accept your invitation.

但会为了当初没有做而感到遗憾，因为结果往往可能更好。
