Fenway park is a baseball stadium in Boston, MA and home of the Boston Red Sox. The "green monster" is a large green wall at the edge one side of the field. It's especially prone to preventing home runs from hits that would likely be home runs in other stadiums. More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Monster
