How do I spell my name in Arabic? My name is Elsa, and I always thought for the most part my name was spelled السا well the other day I met someone who told me my name was spelled السى is this spelling correct? And if it is why is the ى used instead of ا?

I would personally go with إلسا with alef, but names generally don't have a rule so however you decide to spell it is the correct spelling, as long as its not way off, just to be clear :)
