When you come home after shopping
Hello! I have a rather specific question...
Imagine this situation: someone's coming back home after buying groceries. And then they have to take the things out of the bag, put them in the fridge, the cupboard, etc.
So, if they're going to tell someone else what they're about to do... how would that be?
In Spanish, I think I would say "Voy a colocar esto" or "Voy a colocar las cosas". But in English I have no idea what would sound natural. "I'm going to put this away" maybe? I'm a bit lost.
Thank you!

I could think of several natural ways to say it. Your example is natural. I am going to put the groceries away/up . I am going to put this stuff away/up.
Somebody may comment about using this with multiple (plural) items. Otherwise may be correct to say "put these away". I wouldn't think twice if you said this.

Your idea was good!
I would probably say something like, "I have to put away the groceries." or "I'm going to put away the groceries."
