Outside ?
Hello dear native speakers
Is the following sentence natural?
My immediate neighbor, who is a bit hard of hearing, rarely socializes with us and sometimes he doesn't step outside for an entire week.
Am I using "outside" correctly? Or should I say : outside of his house?
is "an entire week" OK?
How about the rest? Is that natural?
Thanks

I agree with Chuck. Most people would say, "next door neighbour". I would also change the connective word, "and" to "in fact" for more emphasis.

Hope this helps.

How about I say " for an entire week"?
Is that also correct?

The "outside" part sounds fine. "Next door" might be better than immediate however. I'm not sure I've ever heard of a neighbor as being "immediate." Best of luck with your language acquisition.
