How do you avoid redundancy when refering again to the verb of a sentence? Like in the sentence He would find work scrubbing toilets if he had to. Though, I would never: I have too much pride. How would you say this sentence in Italian?

Hi, I think Giulia has answered, as if you wrote --"Though, I would never do it", as "it" refers to the premise. It is not very clear however what's the real issue of your question: I thought it referred to an expression as "working as worker". If it's the case, it may happen; if we cannot really avoid this or similar situations, it's also customary to apologize for that (>> "scusate il gioco di parole"). A bit sad, though.

Ho troppo orgoglio" It is strange: he in the first sentence , I in the second?
