What am i supposed to write as answers on my work book? Got my new first ever workbook from talk to me in Korean Level 1 There is 1 lesson subject i'm confused about. Could be also just because of my not 100% good English i just can't seem to understand. So here is 1 example. 𝓢𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 1 - 𝓥𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓫𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦/𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦. 2. 안녕 _________________ [an-nyeong] 3. 하세요 _________________ [ha-se-yo] 4. 안녕하세요 _________________ [an-nyeong-ha-se-yo] 5. 감사 _________________ [gam-sa] 6.합니다 _________________ [ham-ni-da] 7.감사합니다 _________________ [gam-sa-ham-mi-da] I understand the translating full words meaning. But how do i translate/define the cut word? What am i supposed to do?

@Mariam~~미영 Thank you!! trying my best to understand but still little confused. But pretty sure just because of my English understading not so great. I understand the 안녕 means hello informally. So i just write ''Hello'' there? and what am i supposed to write on the 하세요 part and why?

하다 is the verb 안녕 and 감사 are nouns 안녕 means peace ( and it can be used alone as a shortcut to 안녕하세요 if you're talking to a friend or someone younger than you ) so together 안녕 + 하다 = 안녕하다 the verb form of 안녕 and it means to be peaceful / calm / in a good health so 안녕하세요 means hello ( literally be in a good condition ) 하세요 is the imperative form of 하다 same thing with 감사합니다 , 감사 is the noun means gratitude , appreciation 하다 is the verb together 감사하다 means to be thankful and 감사합니다 is the verb conjugated and means I'm thankful ( thank you )
