I have struggle with talking about roles in a film. Please help me out. Thank you! Is this sentence correct? "Daniel Radcliffe in the role Harry Potter"

It's correct, but it doen't have a verb, so it isn't a sentence. It looks like the caption for a photo.

The correct form of saying it is "Daniel Radcliffe plays the role of Harry Potter."
