not treated illnesses
Hi!
Is there a verb collocation to use when a person has an illness, for example, a cold, but he has no time to treat it, stay at home, etc, and he goes to work being sick, supermarkets, etc... So what is a good way to put it in a phrase?

Hello Rook!
You could say: A person who continues with their day to day life and leaves their cold "untreated".
or
You could say: A person who continues with their day to day life without "taking care of" their cold."
or
You could say: A person who continues with their day to day life without "seeing to" their cold."
I hope that helps!

Here are some verb collocations that might be used: “catch” as in “to catch a cold” or “have” as in “I have a fever”, etc.
You can use have, get, come as verb collocations when describing how you’re feeling.
But by them not having time to treat it, that doesn’t change the fact that they are not feeling well. If they have a cold, they have a cold, they just haven’t had time to treat it yet or been able to treat it yet. So, you might say “I’ve caught a cold but I haven’t treated it yet” or “I have a fever but I haven’t treated it yet.” It depends on what ailment the person is experiencing; and depending on their ailment, their response will be different.
Does this help?
