Correction: "What does "stay in good graces with" mean?" or "What does it mean to "stay in good graces" with someone?
Answer: "Staying in good graces" is when you get along well with someone; it means they like you more than they dislike you. If you do something to make that person dislike you, you can say that you "fell out of their good graces". In my experience, these phrases aren't used very often by young people, as they sound a little too polite. However, there is nothing wrong with using them; they just aren't everyday speech.
"Staying in good graces" is something that can only be done with people.
