bean stock is a pun, which is a witty phrase or word (in this case bean stock is the phrase) the idea is that bean stock sounds like bean stalk. bean stock, to my knowledge means little, but in an old story told to children, a little boy climbed up a bean stalk (a bean stalk is literally the part of the plant off of which a bean grows, for example a pea grows in a pod and the pod grows off of the bean stalk). "Jack and the beanstalk" has a happy ending, and after a trip up the beanstalk, which he climbs high up into the sky, he returns back to the Earth after climbing down the beanstalk with a goose that lays gold eggs. So in other words, if you join the Starbucks incentive program, it is like gaining a treasure. The word stock also has a financial sense, as it can relate to the stock market, therefore the choice of the word stock make the program seem like it is worth something or has a value, like money does. This was a fun question to answer. If you are seriously continuing to learn English, pick up a book of old children's fables (stories) and nursery rhymes (poems taught to children). These old stories, some of which go back thousands of years from other languages, are mentioned in print in English. reading and memorizing some of these tales will, I believe, Emprove your knowledge of the English language, as these stories and tales have been told to English speakers since we were children.

Bean Stock is just a name for the plan. since Starbucks deals in coffee beans....the rest is obvious. Bean Stock has no special meaning.
