First at all,you should find some books or websites which are introduce the basic knowledge of Chinese. Secondly,begin study the pinyin which is like English Phonetics,and then learn some chinese characters. Thirdly,I suggest you find some people teach you,otherwise,Self-learning Chinese is difficult and boring. I wish you can success :-)
