what is different between "Ive seen someone" and "I am dating with someone"??

maybe they said "I am seeing someone". both of ones are in relationship?

Not much difference: in both cases the guy should be truly happy!

It depends on the context.
The expressions usually are "I am seeing someone," or "I was seeing someone," which implies that they are or were dating someone.
However, "I've seen someone" just sounds like they literally saw someone with their eyes.
Therefore, depending on the context it could be the same or completely different. Hope that helps!
