我們都說（在美國） “ SUV ” （sport utility vehicle 的縮寫）。 讀音是 "S" "U" "V" 每個字 :) but many "SUV"s are not really for driving in the country, people only use them to drive on normal roads. so some we can call "off-road vehicles", but SUV is a more common term used..... SUV - big car, maybe can go off road, maybe not. Off-road vehicle - this term is not very common, it's specialized. it refers specifically to cars that can drive in the country side (no roads!)... like jeeps or humvees.
