Is this sentence correct?
I did some exercise for 30 minutes yesterday.
Here is the word"exercise" countable or uncountable?
In longman dictionary there are these two definition for " exercise" which I can't understand the difference
1. (Uncountable) Physical activities that you do in order to stay heathy and become stronger.
2. (Countable) a movement or set of movements that you do regularly to keep your body healthy.

Hiya.
Yeah, it's correct! 'Exercises' could also work, if you had something specific in mind.
The way you've used it uncountable; 'exercises' would be countable.
Some terms are always uncountable: 'I got some sleep'; some are always countable: 'I picked some apples'; some work as both, as in your example.
