The task is to describe and compare pictures and answer the question.
Question: What are the people enjoying about spending time by these rivers.
Answer: To begin with, in the both pictures I can see people enjoying by a river. The main difference between the pictures is that in the first one a waterfall is depicted and this is what takes he most part of the picture, whereas in the second photo I can see people, who I can guess are a family, having a picnic by the river.
It is often said that there are three things you can watch forever: fire, water and other people working. That is why it is a stunning way of spending time by rivers or waterfalls. Undoubtedly, a look of water hitting stones on a river floor and a noise of it falling always make us relax, thus I suppose spending time near water is a perfect way of getting energy and emotion balance.
Questing 2: How do you prefer to relax?
Answer: Although the most people prefer to relax washing the nature and listening to its sounds, I rather like doing my hobbies, for example solving a Rubic's cube or reading my favourite fantasy books. Besides, I can't help mentioning that the change of activity is a nice way to get relaxed and forget about surrounding difficulties and issues.
My question to you: a phrase "there are three things you can watch forever: fire, water and other people working", that is quite popular in Russian got there from English. So, can I change it so "There are three thing you can watch forever: how water falls, how fire burns and how others work ". It is longer, than may allow get some more words in an essay for example (where I must have at least 150 words). Would it sound natural?
