'By foot' or 'on foot' ? What is the 'most' correct ?
I know we can use 'on' when we involve parts of the body on the movement, but we can also use 'by' if we are describing the mode of transport and in this case the transport are the feet.
What do you think about it? ☺

If you are talking about travel, "on foot" is more common.
"We went to the store on foot."

To make the answer more interesting, It depends on which English speaking country you are from. The two respondents below didn't comment on this but it would be interesting to know. In my experience, of teaching in seven different countries and working with 100s of colleagues, English prepositions are used different in the UK, USA, New Zealand and India. I'm from the west coast of Canada. I'd use both equally. Cheers
