I like the concept "dead alive" from my favourite tv-show. One of main charakters is done this way. But I think its much deeper than just a person here. Its about people who suffered so much that they are living, but dont feel alive. After a lot of suffering they just can not (or are afraid?) to feel something and to feel something causes for them a lot of questions. Sometimes I meet people like this. They remember me about him.
