In my Chemistry studies, I have learnt two very interesting facts about temperature and water displacement. I learnt that temperature is measured against the average kinetic energy ( the energy of an object because of its movement) of the particles ( atoms) in an object. The greater the motion of the particles, the higher the temperature is.
When an object is put into a container of water, a certain volume of water is displaced. Interestingly, that displace volume is the volume of the object submerged.
