Yes, I travelled alone to Singapore when I was 23 years old. At that time, I had just finished my studies and decided to look for a job after the vacation. I decided to go there because the country was close to me, about a one hour flight away and safe. I lived in a hostel in Chinatown when i was in Singapore, the hygiene and quality of people impressed me because i seldom saw rubblish in the street and people were always reading when travelling on the train. I enjoyed the time in Singapore and made some friends from Ghana in the hostel, I still keep in contact with them now . Apart from the high cost of living in Singapore and it being more/less windy (not sure what you mean here) everything was good for me.
