The more I study English, the better I'm being in Spanish.

My diet as Mexican.  #1. "Tortilla" For me (as many Mexicans), my diet is based on maize products, one of the most popular is the "tortilla". There are many different kinds of tortillas but all of them are made through the same process: The maize is nixtamalized (process consisting in to boil the maize into limewater or adding oxide of calcium (CaO)) The maize is milled using a modern mill or an ancient item named "metate" The milled maize is mixed until a paste is formed. Using the paste, spheres are formed of approximately the size as a golf ball. At home, the tortillas are made by squashing the spheres between both hands such an applause until the tortillas are thin and circle shaped (2-3mm) or are squashed using a machine that allows to get thinner and circle shaped tortillas (1-2mm) Finally, the tortillas are cooked over a pan for some seconds, then it is turned over for another seconds in order to cook them for both sides. The average amount of tortillas that I eat is 9 per day, usually 3 each meal. There are many colors of tortillas, but the most popular are the white, yellow and blue. Also there are different sizes of tortillas depending on the food where they are going to be used. In Mexico, the average cost for one kilogram of tortillas is 20 pesos. The tortillas are rolled to be eaten as part of the food if a fork or spoon is used, otherwise it's eaten in small pieces, however, in both cases it is eaten hot. I can't imagine how my food could be without eating tortillas! I really like to be Mexican and I am so proud to be one.

In Mexico we have a lot of traditions and most of them are connected with food. For instance, on January 6th, most of family members join together to spend time and share a bread called "Rosca de Reyes". Inside the bread are hidden some small plastic figures of baby a Jesus, so each member of the family choose a piece of bread and if he/she finds the little figure, must invite to eat "tamales" to the rest of the members of his family on February 2nd. The bread usually is eaten with a cup of hot chocolate. This tradition in related with catholic religion, but even people who is not catholic enjoys this tasty bread.

I really like my native language (Spanish) but my second favorite language is for sure Russian. Actually I studying English because I need it for work, but very soon I will start to study Russian because I would like meet people, besides I like the culture, the food, the incredible places and scenery that Russia has.

My favorite TV serie definitely is "Friends", actually I almost cried when the last episode was broadcasted. I felt identified with most of characters in some way, because some things that they were living in the serie, I was living either. My personality is approached to Ross, because I like to learn some interesting or curious facts, but most of people find them bored. My favorite character is Chandler, because he is relaxed and funny as well. I would like to have friends such as "Friends", because they always supports each other. The "Central Perk" should be my preferred place to hangout with my friends. I like the peculiar size of the cups. When I have a bad day, I watch Friends and that changes my mood in a good way. I think that I never going to be tired to watch Friends.

I think that we need all kind of food, but we should take care in the amount of certain kind of food or ingredients, like a red meat, oil, salt and sugar. We should prefer instead vegetables, whole fruits and cereals.

Benefits: You can set or handle your schedule. You save money by don't using a vehicle to go to school. You can use comfortable clothes during your classes. Disadvantages: You could have problems with internet connection. You miss the human contact.
