Korean Basics
I appreciate your kindness to share Korean culture to me. I would ask about some of the things I'm curious with; truly, to have an idea so when I visit Korea I will be familiar to:
What is the proper term of greeting or addressing an unexpected caller in phone?
In public transportation like buses, usually in a regular ride, Is the ride pass you are using upon riding is like a prepaid fare that can be availed to the station or so?
In Korea, Do you commonly use two denominations 'won' and 'dollar' even in an ordinary store?
I analyzed this, What is the difference between the use of suffix '-un' '-nun' 'rul'?
In Korean alphabet, I noticed that some of its consonants has two romanized letter translations (ex. t, d, k,g, r, l), Can I use any of the two romanized translations with a specific Korean alphabet when I write so?

japanese words.
I'm sorry to ask this again because i want to know the proper way of using these:
2.What is the difference between using these particles of verbs in Japanese and using the plain form of verbs?
e.g.1
'kau to katte/'tte
'dasu to dashite/shite
etc......
e.g.2
To o shimete kudasai.
(Why is it,shimete is used instead of shimeru?)
3.What is the difference between using the particle ''mashita'' and ''ta'' to indicate past tense of verbs?
e.g.
Oreru to oreta/ 'ta
wakarimashita/mashita(sometimes I notice it as 'wakatta'.)
