Lessons with Mari-sensei are always super fun and motivational. My solitary study seems to come alive as Mari-sensei guides our conversation and helps me put together meaningful and natural sounding sentences. いつもありがとうございます!

I'm lucky to have Mari-Sensei by my side during this language learning journey. While I get by with easy conversations, I have come to realize that truly expressing myself in Japanese is very difficult. まだ学ぶことがたくさんあります！However, I feel extremely fortunate to continue this journey with Mari-sensei's help and guidance. While lessons with Mari-sensei are always fun, I really appreciate the careful guidance during our conversations. Mari-sensei takes notes throughout the lesson and provides insights, suggestions and corrections. This allows me to talk freely and I really learn a lot that way. いつもありがとうございます！

Mari-sensei is a very polite and kind teacher. After each lesson, she sends me a message with corrections and helpful vocabulary that was troublesome during the lesson. Today's lesson was amazing. We always start off with a topic in mind, but that seems to quickly change throughout the lesson. Though more and more I find that our conversations are almost entirely in Japanese. A year ago I would have never thought that possible.
