I have been working as a teacher since 2009 and have lived in Turkey, China, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and now Slovakia. I specialize in IELTS/PTE/OET/TOEFL and other exams but I can also help with general English, conversation, grammar, and vocabulary development.
My background is in History and Politics, and I hold BA and MA/MRes degrees in both those subjects as well as in Applied Linguistics. I also hold several teaching certificates for TEFL, etc.

My lessons are based on a thorough initial assessment of the learner, and I adapt my teaching accordingly, to the student's needs, learning style, and what the outcome of the lesson is.

I have started to learning English with Mr.Dean since I was 10. He is a humorous, responsible and knowledgeable gentlemen. Unlike other teachers, he is very professional in taking exam and always gives useful advice.

Thanks to him, I was able to get 380 in OET medicine after just 5 classes but now I’m struggling with my reading. In his classes, he teaches me the strategy, how to think and how to solve the reading section and now I’m excited to see how much I can improve with him.
