He does such a great job at being both a great listener but also always keeping the conversation going. Even when I am not sure on what to say, he always has it covered. One thing I also appreciate very much is that he is great at pointing out where I can improve with specific examples that he noticed while we conversing. It is always very actionable feedback and it's important for me to know to keep smoothing out the wrinkles in this language learning journey.

Excellent work ethic and determination on behalf of the language learner! He considers the needs and interests of his students. Some teachers are weary about working at certain times or days. He provides interesting stories and details about the day. Very friendly, patient, understanding, and easy-going! If you do not understand the concept one way, he will find other ways to explain it. Repetition is there, and he is quite patient. Also, he speaks very clearly, and that is important. In particular, intermediate and advanced language learners can benefit from his assistance. He encourages and respects the learner. He sees and hears what they have already achieved. He builds on that prior knowledge rather than judges and becomes overly concerns with the possible gaps. For someone who is not formally trained, he truly has an incredible gift for teaching. I look forward to learning more, and filling some of my own individual language gaps.
