I’m a native English speaker and I have been teaching English for over 4 years both online and face to face in an academy. I'm currently living in France and learning french, so I definitely understand the challenges that come with learning a language. Patience, practice and more patience!
I’m fully qualified and have a TEFL certificate. I also have a degree in Fine Art, so if you happen to be interested in art, photography or anything creative then I’m sure we can have some interesting conversations about that!Показать перевод

My teaching style is totally adaptable to each student’s needs and abilities - however you will find that I am consistent in correcting errors, pronunciation and even accent if required. This can be toned down if you prefer less corrections and just want to focus on fluency. I am also consistent in my lesson preparation and quality of teaching.
You can expect to see a friendly face every time you enter the classroom, and I aim to provide a welcoming environment for you to learn, progress and most importantly, actually enjoy learning English. In my conversation classes, you can expect to be shown articles, TED talks, interesting podcasts or English songs which we can then discuss and pick out new vocabulary for you to learn.
I also have over 3 years experience teaching Cambridge exams B1-C2 and can help with some useful tricks and tips to manage time effectively in the exam and to understand the grammar required in each section. Homework can be set if desired.
I also offer kids lessons to all ages and abilities. I use props, games and interactive material to keep them engaged in class. I also teach business English, whether it's for an interview, office vocabulary or just feeling more confident in meetings.Мой учебный материал

Lydia is the best English teacher I've ever had. Not only has she a lovely personality but she is also a sheer professionalist. The best pick for intermediate and advanced students if you want to thrive as an English speaker. I highly appreciate the way I'm being corrected and after each lesson I feel that I've learned something. For a reasonable price I get even more than I expected. Looking forward to our next meetings!

Lydia is an extraordinary teacher. She's preparing me to my C1 exam. I really recommend lessons with her. She will walk you through the parts of the exam and give you tons of tips. All of this in calm and marvelous atmosphere! I'm looking forward to next classes :)

Lydia is an extraordinary teacher. Time flies in her classes, I really enjoy it. She adapts the lessons with flexibility and I love the challenges she gives me to take my vocabulary to the next level. I always end the lessons with lots of new expressions to put on my flash cards.. Her accent and way of speaking is really inspiring for me.
