My name is Catarina and I am portuguese. I grew up in the countryside of Portugal. I studied Law at University of Coimbra, here in Portugal. After my gaduation i attended a postgraduate course in Human Rights. I speak Portuguese, English, a little bit of French and now i am trying to learn Thai. I also know some words in German, Spanish and Italian. I love reading, dancing and listen to music. I have 3 cats (Sebastião, Basílio e Flora) and 1 dog (Dingo).Показать перевод

IMPORTANT : Prices update
Hello, current students and potential future students :)
Class prices and formats will be updated in two weeks.
Classes will now be divided into two groups. One of the groups will only be for beginners classes (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, etc.), and the other will be for students who just want to practice speaking. Prices will be adjusted taking into account the class time and the preparation time of the class.
Starting on september
I am a fun, easy going and dynamic teacher. I always try to do my best.

The classes will be tailored according to the knowledge you already have of Portuguese, your goals and needs. If you are just starting, we can start from the beggining with the basics. If on the other and, you already know a little bit of Portuguese, then we can do another approach. We can have conversations about any topic of your choice, we can listen to portuguese songs and analyse the lyrics, we can take a look at the grammar and more complex contents. There are several exercises we can do and methods we can try. Usuallly i prefer an informal approach but i can do formal to.Мой учебный материал

Very happy to be back with Catarina for lessons again after a break. As always, she is very patient, asks good questions and brings up interesting topics to keep the conversation going and very patiently corrects me when I mix in another language that isn't Portuguese.

I have taken classes with various teachers, and Catarina stands out as one of the best. She explains concepts clearly, making them easy to understand. Her teaching materials are well-organized and straightforward, which has made my learning experience much smoother and less challenging. Although I consider learning Portuguese to be the second most difficult language after German, her approach has significantly eased the process. Muito obrigada !!!!
