✅ Speak the language from day 1!
✅ Hi, I am Jonathan, a vegan and animal lover. I am also a tutor of Spanish as a foreign language. I come from Ecuador (yes, home of the Galapagos Islands; that is right).
✅ I have now been teaching Spanish for 8 years. My experience encompasses teaching Spanish to native speakers at schools in Ecuador, online tutoring to students from all over the world (mainly English speakers from the UK and US) and face-to-face tutoring of students in the Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge area in the UK.
✅ I graduated from the state University of Guayaquil in 2015 with a BSc. in Marketing and for which I wrote a dissertation on Second Language Acquisition.Показать перевод

HOW IT WORKS?
✅ First, as a prospective student you will be interviewed for 30 minutes (trial lesson) to assess the following: - your current level of proficiency as well as the level of proficiency you wish to reach.
✅ I come up with a recommendation in line with your needs. The purpose of this is to: make sure you have a clear understanding of what you are learning and aiming for - allow me to monitor whether you are advancing toward your previously agreed objectives.
✅ You will be introduced to my plethora of online resources. I will provide you with the material necessary for class and self-study through Google Drive and email.

✅ I will accept any rescheduling requests with more than 24 hours notice. This gives me time to find another student to take your spot. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice or if you fail to attend the lesson, you will need to pay for the lesson in full.
✅ Please be on time. I often have back to back classes.

Jonathan is extremely professional and well prepared. His material is excellent and focuses on encouraging students to speak freely. He corrects and gives feedback when he notices a mistake in a polite and professional manner, which really helped me recognize my own errors and make improvements. I have worked with multiple teachers, both on italki as well as in traditional language schools, and Jonathan has been the best spanish teacher I had so far. I would recommend him to both beginners as well as more advanced students wanting to improve their fluidity in spanish.

Let me start off this review by saying that Johnathon is truly an inspiration for language learners everywhere, for he is living proof that you do not need to travel abroad to become fluent in your target language! These past few lessons with him have been fun. Johnathon is very patient and easy to talk to. P.S. I'm really sorry about the horrible internet connection!

Mi primera lección con Jonathan fue genial! Tiene un planteamiento didáctico que hace que uno puede sentirse cómodo pero motivado. Por ello podría definir mejor mis falencias lingűístics y reconocer la mejor manera de tratarlas. Además demostró empatía, preparación, interés y atención. No podría pedir mas de un tutor. Gracias!
