🌟 I highly recommend Teacher Heejin! we have been studying together over a year now and I can tell she’s incredibly patient and never rushes me, even when our class time is technically over. Time flies during our lessons because I feel so comfortable asking questions—even after class—and she always takes the time to explain things thoroughly. She has the talent of understanding my attempts sentences in korean even though it does not make any sense haha once I had a bad experience with a teacher who didn't allow me to make any mistakes so scary! What I really appreciate is how she creates personalized Quizlet cards for each chapter, which makes reviewing vocabulary so easy. Plus, we have a shared Google Doc where she corrects my sentences and upgrades them into more fluent, natural Korean. I can always go back to it to study expressions that I actually want to use. Thanks to her, I feel like I’m really improving—not just in grammar, but in expressing myself more naturally. 🙏💬🇰🇷

Heejin was super fun and listened to what I need help with. She is organized and engaged. It's also easy to communicate with her in English. Looking forward to our lessons together!

I came back after a break from studying and Heejin didn't miss a beat. She provided old materials to review and got us speaking again covering topics that needed to be worked on and transitioning to new material. A fantastic teacher!

I love my lessons with her , we do vocabulary of something current in my life , then we learn some Hangeul characters and we do sentences that I can read . I love when she show me the books we will be using . She recaps everything at the end for me and she send it to me , it easy for me to print out the stuff she gives me as well .

Sadly, Heejin fell a little short when trying to find a lesson for our daughter. She's a good teacher and did pretty well in the first lesson. She neglected to give a homework assignment, despite discussion of this beforehand for our daughter. When I asked her to assign one, she refused to do so and said we'd need to book another lesson instead. Upon booking the next lesson she cut the lesson short by 15 minutes. I had to report a problem for her to issue a refund for the class. Hee-jin doesn't help with recording lessons or offer ample communication with the parents. I think she needs to be a little more serious about her tutoring.

Today was my first time booking a class here on iTalki, and I'm happy with Teacher Heejin! She was super nice and patient with my level. I felt comfortable, and she explained to me what would be the best learning path. I’m excited for more classes!
