My name is Cydonie, I was born in London and currently live in Nice in the south of France, where I have been teaching undergraduate students at the Université Sophia Antipolis for the past three years. I teach oral expression through presentations and debates, business English, creative writing and translation. I also work as a tour guide!
Before teaching I worked as a jeweller and watch repairer for nearly 10 years, so I can teach you business vocabulary also if you are learning for professional reasons. I can also help you with IELTS and TOEIC preparation, and have the official ebook of exercises from previous exams that we can work through together.Показать перевод

So you would like to learn English? That's a good idea. When you combine native speakers with non-native speakers, English is the most widely spoken language in the world. Why not start your journey into the English language (or brush up what you’ve already started) and become an official ‘Anglophone’ by the end of 2020!

Maybe you find it difficult to think in English, or are missing vocabulary that adds nuance, subtlety or humour to your speech? I like to deal with these missing words immediately with lots of examples phrases, so the context means they stay where they belong - In your memory!
I offer lessons to A2 level+ students who want to gain confidence in classic British English. I also can help you specifically with British pronunciation/slang as well. I am very patient, speak with a standard London accent and will repeat things as many times as you need to so the vocabulary sticks! Thanks a lot Cyd :). Today, we spoke about blablacar, sailing, holidays, food, relationship at work, dreams, sports, ski and more. I really appreciate her professionalism. She always smile and give you the best explanation when you have a difficulty of comprehension. She is really cultivated and has always a good opinion about a lot of different topics. She pushed me to speak english and support me even if I made mistakes. Her french is just amazing and I think as good as mine. She is the best teacher I've ever met on Italki.
