Sara is a fantastic teacher! I have learned so much from her over the past 2.5 years and my Spanish has definitely improved. I love Sara's organized and structured lessons where she clearly explains concepts and then gives ample opportunity to practice. She provides homework to help students internalize the learning points, and gives numerous examples to help me improve. She is extremely friendly, motivating, and hardworking - she deeply cares about all of her students and has helped me thrive! She is also excellent at providing varied practice so I could improve my oral, listening, and writing skills. When I first started my lessons with Sara, I knew some grammar points from my high school classes, but I had mostly forgotten them. Because of Sara, she helped me learn so much that I can now speak with more confidence and ease. Thank you Sara - you have been an incredible teacher these past few years and I have loved all of our lessons!

Sara is a peerless teacher from my experience, and I've had a few teachers. I've been taking lessons with her for almost 3 years and she's super organised, her classes are challenging but interesting, and she's got an amazing personality too, so will keep you entertained throughout. She's also super patient, attentive and will correct all your errors mid-conversation, thus helping you improve more quickly. Sara is a consummate professional, however like anything in life you get out what you put in, but it's important to choose a teacher like Sara who works very hard to help you as an individual and continuously improves her classes and techniques. She also develops her own supplementary resources including podcasts and magazines to support the learning process outside of classes. What more could you want?

I've started taking the conversational classes with Sara, so I wanted to highlight that. I've already taken *a bunch* of her grammar classes, which are already a level above other teachers on this platform. But after 200 grammar classes I've been feeling the need to give special attention to my spontaneous verbal communication. Now, *of course* I've take "conversational classes" with other teachers, and I've really enjoyed them. However, they could also turn *too* conversational, where I suspected that my errors were not being noted. Or there were classes that sort of rambled and didn't seem to have a point. Sara brings her rigorous approach in designing classes to conversation, so that my time feels well used. There are specific vocabulary objectives, the feedback is copious, detailed, but also unobtrusive. She lets the conversation flow while making excellent notes. And there is (of course, because it's Sara) a plan! So I feel assured that this isn't "just talking!"

Sara and I have collaborated to change our approach to my Spanish study in a way that is already bearing fruit. She is kind, patient and absolutely committed to her students.
